Program Objectives<br />
Selk<strong>irk</strong> <strong>College</strong> offers all four levels of Electri<strong>ca</strong>l<br />
techni<strong>ca</strong>l training in cooperation with the<br />
Industry Training Authority (ITA). The theory<br />
courses prepare students to become Journeyperson<br />
Electricians by completing the required techni<strong>ca</strong>l<br />
training for Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each level<br />
consists of a ten-week program that meets 30<br />
hours per week.<br />
Admission Requirements<br />
• indentured in Electri<strong>ca</strong>lApprenticeship,<br />
• recommended: graduation from a British<br />
Columbia Senior Secondary School or<br />
equivalent, including English 12, Math 12<br />
and Physics 11.<br />
