IMMUNIZED STATEMENT WAS USED AGAINST HIM

OSTERMAN: It appeared to me that Mr. Haeg had not committed one way or the other when an
amended information was filed and the amended information contained information provided by
Haeg uh- as a result of rule 11 negotiations.
ROM: Right
MR. OSTERMAN: The initial rule 11 agreement I had heard had
been accepted and then Scot filed an amended information that
alleged new material that was –uh- received out of the rule 11
negotiations.
MR. ROM: And –uh- nobody ever informed you that the
reason that happened is that Mr. Haeg insisted on going
into open sentencing which could have given him a 5 year license
suspension – exposure
