A common limited warranty covers only parts, not labor.Other limited warranties give you only a partial refund when somethinggoes wrong with an item, such as when a tire with a 50,000-mileguarantee fails at 30,000 miles. Some limited warranties require you topay for shipping a product back for service. Other limited warrantiescover a product only as long as it is owned by the original buyer.
