ETO Case 000­Mauthausen­13, U.S. v. Karl Albrecht, was tried at Dachau,<br />

Germany, during the period April 24–25, 1947, before a General Military<br />

Government Court. The defendant, a member of the Waffen SS, was accused<br />

of participating in the killings of Polish inmates at Gusen II Concentration<br />

Camp, a sub­<strong>camp</strong> of Mauthausen. As approved by the reviewing authori­<br />

ty, Albrecht was sentenced to life in prison.<br />
