These records are reproduced on the 70 rolls of <strong>National</strong> <strong>Archives</strong> Microfilm<br />

Publication M1284. A descriptive pamphlet is available. M1284 includes<br />

State Department decimal file 840.48 (Refugees). Documentation on the War<br />

Refugee Board’s (WRB) direct relief shipments by truck to the Mauthausen<br />

<strong>complex</strong> <strong>and</strong> early evacuation operations from the main <strong>camp</strong> in April 1945<br />

is included on roll 56. A small amount of material on the fourth <strong>and</strong> final<br />

evacuation convoy from Mauthausen, arriving in Switzerl<strong>and</strong> on April 30,<br />

1945, <strong>and</strong> food relief to liberated inmates is included on roll 57.<br />
