ETO Case 000­50­5­2, U.S. v. Ernst Walter Dura et al., was tried at Dachau,
Germany, during the period June 9–23, 1947, before a General Military
Government Court. The case concerned nine defendants accused of partic­
ipating in the operations of Mauthausen Concentration Camp and its sub­
camps and thereby, on the principle of common design, implicated in mass
atrocities and other war crimes. All of the accused, listed below, served at
