ETO Case 000­50­5­3, U.S. v. Erick Scheuttauf et al., was tried at Dachau,<br />

Germany, during the period June 13–24, 1947, before a General Military<br />

Government Court. The case concerned six defendants accused of participat­<br />

ing in operations of Mauthausen Concentration Camp <strong>and</strong> its sub­<strong>camp</strong>s <strong>and</strong><br />

thereby, on the principle of common design, implicated in mass atrocities <strong>and</strong><br />

other war crimes. All were members of the Waffen SS at sub­<strong>camp</strong> Gusen I:<br />
