Three of the accused, Buchmann, Dworsky, <strong>and</strong> Hehl, were not tried. Lennert<br />

was acquitted. As approved by the reviewing authority, Reuter was sentenced<br />

to two years in prison, Buetgen, to three years, <strong>and</strong> Thielmann, to life in<br />

prison. Flaucher, Heller, Kofler, <strong>and</strong> Petrat were sentenced to death.<br />
