III.35 Interrogation Reports<br />

There are two major series of interrogation reports included among records<br />

of the Office of the Chief Council for War Crimes (OCCWC). Interrogations<br />

<strong>and</strong> Other <strong>Records</strong> Received from Various Allied Military Agencies (Entry<br />

160) includes an OSS report on the interrogation of August Eigruber,<br />

Gauleiter of Upper Austria, regarding Mauthausen <strong>and</strong> its associated <strong>camp</strong>s<br />

(See box 35, location: 190/12/13/07). Interrogations <strong>and</strong> Summaries of<br />

Interrogations of Defendants <strong>and</strong> Witnesses (Entry 183) includes several<br />

interrogations of Friedrich Entress, <strong>camp</strong> physician at Auschwitz <strong>and</strong><br />

Mauthausen (Box 131, location: 190/12/29/02), <strong>and</strong> a statement by Dr.<br />

Eduard Krebsbach, chief post physician at Mauthausen (Box 76, location:<br />

190/12/30/06). Both series are available to researchers on NARA Microfilm<br />

Publications M1019 <strong>and</strong> M1270 (see VII.3 <strong>and</strong> VII.4 below).<br />

III.36 Internee Personnel <strong>Records</strong> (201 Files), 1945–1948 (Entry 200)<br />

These personnel records include a prison file for Viktor Brack, implicated<br />

in the euthanasia program at Hartheim Castle (Box 4, location: 190/<br />

12/34/02). For Brack’s “execute file,” see III.81 below.<br />
