State Preparedness Report –<br />

The National Preparedness Report, released annually,<br />

summarizes how prepared the Nation is to meet the<br />

challenges of emergencies, disasters and catastrophic<br />

events. The report focuses on threats and hazards that<br />

pose the greatest risk to U.S. security and resilience.<br />

Risks include acts of terrorism, cyber attacks,<br />

pandemics and catastrophic natural disasters. It<br />

is developed using data from the annual State<br />

Preparedness Reports. All 56 U.S. States and territories<br />

conducted these statewide self preparedness<br />

assessments.<br />
