Ababdes are very h<strong>and</strong>some, notwithst<strong>and</strong>ing<br />

<strong>the</strong>ir ridiculous-looking heads, with a very pecu-<br />

el-belled <strong>of</strong> Korosko; <strong>and</strong> we regaled <strong>the</strong>m with<br />

c<strong>of</strong>fee <strong>and</strong> sherbet, <strong>and</strong> sent <strong>the</strong>m back, each with<br />

a present <strong>of</strong> English gun-powder <strong>and</strong> pen-knives,<br />

very much <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir delight.<br />
