A clergyman who sent in the resolution from Tonbrid<strong>go</strong> in<br />

Shropshire, reported an attendance <strong>of</strong> "Christinn people <strong>of</strong><br />

all denominations. " The Bishop <strong>of</strong> Ripon sent the Leads<br />

resolution, and at Porwich the Bishop presided at one <strong>of</strong> the<br />

meetings. At Bristol the clergy played an important<br />

part, while Church participation at Birmingham has already<br />

been noted. A local clergymen presided at the Kensington<br />

Town Hall meeting.<br />
