describing the domesticated reindeer <strong>of</strong> Lapland<br />

says, "Foeminae majores et fortiores mares<br />

prae caeteris admittunt, ad eos confugiunt,<br />

a junioribus agitatae, qui hos in fugam conjiciunt."<br />
