The report of Master in Chancery J. M. Pfeifer
of Springfield, 111., on the foreclosure sale of the
properties of the Illinois Collieries Co., showed a
deficit of $2,983,012.50. The properties were sold
Nov. 15 to the Pittsburgh Coal Co. for $126,000.
The deficit represents the amount of outstanding
bonds, together with interest.
