PUBLIC INFORMATION LAW<br />

I INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS<br />

Article 1<br />

This Law shall regulate the right to public information as a right to the freedom of expression of thought and the rights and obligations of the<br />

persons involved in the public information process.<br />

The right to public information shall entail in particular the freedom of expression of thought, the freedom to gather, investigate, publish and<br />

disseminate ideas, information and opinions, the freedom to print and distribute (disseminate) newspapers and other media outlets, the<br />

freedom to produce and broadcast radio and television programs, the freedom to receive ideas, information and opinions, the freedom to<br />

establish legal persons dealing with public information.<br />

Public information shall be free and in the interest of the public.<br />

Public information shall not be subjected to censorship.<br />

II PUBLIC INFORMATION PRINCIPLES<br />

Freedom of Public Information<br />

Article 2<br />

No-one may, even indirectly, limit the freedom of public information, especially by abuse of state or private authority, the abuse of the rights,<br />

influence or control of media printing and distribution means or of broadcasting devices and radio frequencies, or in any other manner apt to<br />

limit the free flow of ideas, information and opinions.<br />
