Article 66<br />

The litigants may file an appeal within eight days from the day they were served a certified copy of the sentence.<br />

The appeal shall be served to the opposing party for a response without delay, within 3 days upon receipt of the appeal at the latest.<br />

The response to the appeal shall be made within three days from the receipt of the appeal.<br />

A properly and timely filed appeal, together with all the case files, shall be presented by the first degree court to the second-degree court within<br />

five days upon reception of the response to the appeal i.e. upon expiration of the deadline for responding to an appeal.<br />

The second-degree court shall rule on the appeal within eight days upon reception of the appeal and the case files.<br />

A motion for a retrial may be presented for reasons set forth in items 1), 2), 4), 5), and 6) of Article 421 of the Law on Litigation and shall be<br />

presented within eight days from learning the reason wherefore a retrial is requested and not later than 30 days from the day the sentence<br />

became legally binding.<br />

Revision of the appellate ruling is admissible in the event the appeal has been dismissed and revision has been requested within 15 days from<br />

the day the appellate ruling has been served.<br />

Serving the Irrevocable Sentence to the Founder<br />

A certified transcript of the irrevocable sentence ordering the publication of the reply i.e. correction shall be served immediately also to the<br />

founder of the media outlet.<br />
