Exclusion of Liability<br />

Article 82<br />

The journalist, the responsible editor and the legal person, which is the founder of the media outlet, shall not be held liable for damages if the<br />

inaccurate or incomplete information was an accurate quote from a public parliament debate, a public debate in a parliamentary body, a court<br />

proceeding or a document provided by a competent state body.<br />

Expansion of Liability Referred to in Paras 1 and 2 of Article 198 of the Code<br />

of Obligations<br />

Article 83<br />

The author, the responsible editor and the legal person, which is the founder of the media outlet, who had been able to establish the inaccuracy<br />

or incompleteness of the information prior to its publication by due diligence, shall be held liable for the damages.<br />

Objective Liability of the State<br />

Article 84<br />

The state shall always be held liable for damages caused by the publication of inaccurate or incomplete information provided by a state body,<br />

regardless of the guilt.<br />

Deadline for Filing a Lawsuit over Compensation of Damages<br />

Article 85<br />

A lawsuit over the compensation of damages shall be filed within 6 months from the day the information was published.<br />
