In this paper wedescribe the timing and effects of this crisis, and the way thedifferent agents in the fishing sector adapted to it. These changesare described through a set of indicators that revealvariations in the capital stock of the fleet and the actualfishing effort, the unitary fishing costs, and the distributionof the income and quasi-rents in the fishery.
