D. Buchner: Ganz ehrlich, ich würde mir
schon wünschen, dass ich in einem Jahr
mehr Auswahl bieten kann und eine
neue Mode, einen neuen Style entwickelt
habe. Achtzig Prozent der Mode
ist für Frauen. Genau deshalb stelle
ich mir vor, dass man coole, sportliche
Klamotten für Frauen macht. Hoodie-Kleider,
sportliche Klamotten, die
eine lockere, lässige Eleganz an den Tag
legen. Ich hatte bereits von Anfang an
in meinem Online-Shop ein Sweaterkleid
für Frauen, das sofort ausverkauft war.
Dieser Ansturm hat mich nur noch mehr
darin bestätigt, dass Frauen Sportkleider
lieben würden, die für einen sportlichen
Lifestyle stehen. Jede Dame, die ins
Freibad geht, will vielleicht mal kein
T-Shirt mit einer kurzen Hose tragen
sondern würde sich über ein elegantes,
lässiges Kleid freuen. Für uns Männer ist
die Sache ja einfach: T-Shirt und Cap und
Du bist fertig angezogen.
S. V. Winkhaus: Du machst vieles aus
dem Bauch heraus und lässt Dich ein
Stück weit treiben. Dennoch, was ist
Deine Traumvorstellung?
D. Buchner: Naja, mein größter Traum ist
natürlich, dass überall im Online Shop
steht: ausverkauft! Dass Du das, was
Du produzierst sofort an den Mann und
an die Frau bringst. Was ich allerdings
nicht will ist, dass meine Marke über die
großen Internetshops verkauft wird. Es
soll mein Label momentan nur online
und Exklusiv in meinem Onlineshop
geben. Genau aus dem Grund gibt es
meine Mode auch nicht im Barbershop
zu kaufen sondern ganz klar nur im
Netz. Es soll keine Stangenware werden
sondern etwas Besonderes bleiben.

S. V. Winkhaus: Du wurdest ja vom
Erfolg Deines Labels mehr oder weniger
überrascht. Wollen wir uns in einem
Jahr wiedersehen und Du erzählst uns,
wie sich Dein Traum entwickelt hat?
D. Buchner: Ja, das sollten wir machen.
Ich bin selber gespannt darauf.
S. V. Winkhaus: Where do you see yourself in a
year’s time with your label?
D. Buchner: Honestly, I would like to think that
in a year’s time I would be offering more choice
and would have developed a new fashion, a
new style. Eighty percent of fashion is for women.
That‘s why I imagine making cool, sporty
clothes for women. Hoodie dresses, sporty outfits
that show a relaxed, casual elegance. Right
at the start I had a sweater dress for women in
my online shop that sold out immediately. This
stampede just confirmed to me even more that
women would love sports dresses that represent
a sporty lifestyle. Not every lady who goes
to the outdoor pool wants to wear shorts and
T-shirt every time, and would be happy with
an elegant, casual dress. It‘s easy for us men, A
T-shirt and a cap and you’re dressed.
S. V. Winkhaus: You go by your gut instincts a
lot and let yourself go with the flow a bit. But
what‘s your dream for the future?
D. Buchner: Well, my biggest dream is, of course,
that everything in the online shop is sold
out! That you take what you produce straight to
the men and women. What I don‘t want, however,
is for my brand to be sold through the big
online shops. At the moment my label is only
available online and exclusively in my online
shop. And this is why my fashion is not available
in my barber’s shop, but quite specifically
only on the internet. It should be something
special, not off-the-peg clothing.
S. V. Winkhaus: You were quite surprised by the
success of your label. Shall we meet again in a
year’s time and you can tell us how your dream
panned out?
D. Buchner: Yes, we should do that. I‘m excited
about it myself.
