OS CORETOS DA PRAÇA
BATISTA CAMPOS
Na mais bela praça de
Belém, pelo início do século
XX, durante o amplo
embelezamento realizado na
gestão do intendente Antônio
Lemos, foram implantados
cinco coretos de tamanhos
variáveis, todos pré-fabricados
em ferro e importados da
Alemanha. O maior, instalado
no centro da praça, foi
Praça Batista Campos. O pavilhão 1º de Dezembro.
