hydrocarbons with high paraffinicity are

detergent feedstocks has been demonstrated.

quate because the limited amount of branching
present is mostly biodegradable methyl groups.
Table 2 shows some properties of the chemicals.
Heavy specialties from the plant consist of waxy
raffinate and food quality waxes. The pure paraf
finic hydrocarbons with well controlled properties
(Table 3) are value-
eminently suitable for high
added applications like hot melt adhesives. MDS
waxes conform to the regulations of the Food
and Drug Administration for food applications.
