The witnesses to <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> signatures were-Henry Toye, Edward Osland<br />
(sic), Obadiah Clare, and Edward Toye.<br />
In James Scott's MSS.-to which reference will be freqcently made in<br />
this book-he says that <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> certz9cak appointing Heizry OasZand nliazster <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
HerudGey &ring tile Com?~z<strong>on</strong>wea~th is siiiG extant. Am<strong>on</strong>gst this chapel's deeds<br />
and o<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r papers, which <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> author saw in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fice <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> Mr. W. H. Talbot,<br />
