Check engine oil level every time gasoline is purchased.<br />

Body Hardware<br />

Apply a few drops of light<br />

oil to door hinges. Clean<br />

all door striker plates and<br />

wedges and apply a small<br />

amount of vaseline.<br />

Every 1000 miles<br />

"Oil Can"<br />

Lubrication<br />

Apply a few drops of engine<br />

oil to the connections<br />

for the hand brake, the<br />

clutch release mechanism,<br />

and the transmission control<br />

linkage.<br />

Every 1000 miles<br />

Engine Oil Filler<br />

Check oil level every 100<br />

to 150 miles and add oil as<br />

required.<br />

Drain crankcase and refill<br />

with oil of correct grade.<br />

Every 2000 miles<br />

Front Wheel<br />

Bearings<br />

Each front wheel<br />

Remove bearings, clean,<br />

repack with wheel bearing<br />

lubricant and readjust.<br />

Every 6000 miles<br />

Steering Gear<br />

Add steering gear lubricant<br />

to bring level up to<br />

filler.<br />

Timer-Distributor<br />

Turn down grease cup and<br />

refill with water pump lubricant.<br />

Every 1000 miles<br />

CAUTION: Open garage doors before starting engine.<br />

Pedal Shaft<br />

Apply a few drops of<br />

engine oil to pedal felts and<br />

shaft with oil can.<br />
