Three point manual adjustment is provided to give<br />

a soft, medium, or firm ride in accordance with the<br />

owner's preference.<br />

The front shock absorbers are attached to the upper<br />

forked arms of the Knee Action assembly and control<br />

compression and rebound action of the helical coil<br />

springs.<br />

Double Ride Stabilizers<br />

Another important chassis refinement on the new Sixteen<br />

is the adoption of a cross link rear stabilizer. This<br />

stabilizer is effective in reducing body roll and also<br />

provides rear axle control reducing body shake on<br />

choppy road surfaces.<br />

The front stabilizer is of rigid torsion shaft construction<br />

and is mounted behind the Knee Action arms.<br />

This stabilizer insures handling stability at high speeds<br />

>n curves or steeply crowned roads.<br />

Self-energizing hydraulic brakes are used on the Sixteen<br />

because these give the finest combination of positive<br />
