inserts are unnecessary.
Full Length Water
Jackets
All metals expand with heat and change their shape
when heated unevenly. Full length water jackets provide
uniform cooling over the entire length of the
cylinder walls and, therefore, insure an equal expansion
of the cylinder barrels in all directions under severe
weather conditions. Cylinders remain true and full
compression is retained after years of hard usage.
A second important advantage of full length water
jackets is the reduction in engine oil temperature as a
