Key management compensation consists entirely of the emoluments of the Board of Directors of the NHS Foundation Trust. Full details of Directors'<br />

remuneration <strong>and</strong> interests are set out in the Directors' Remuneration <strong>Report</strong> which is a part of the annual report <strong>and</strong> accounts.<br />

<strong>The</strong>re are currently six Directors to whom pension benefits are accruing under defined benefit schemes.<br />

<strong>The</strong> above remuneration is on an annualised basis <strong>and</strong> is that of the highest paid director. This includes salary, performance related pay, severance<br />

payments <strong>and</strong> benefits in kind where applicable but excludes employer pension contributions. <strong>The</strong> Medical Director was Acting Chief Executive for the<br />

period May to September 2011.<br />

All NHS Foundation Trusts are required to disclose the relationship between the remuneration of the highest paid director in their organisation <strong>and</strong> the<br />

median remuneration of the organisations workforce. <strong>The</strong> median total remuneration above is the total remuneration of the staff member lying in the<br />

middle of the linear distribution of staff employed in the Trust, excluding the highest paid director. This is based on an annualised full time total staff<br />

equivalent remuneration as at the reporting period date.<strong>The</strong> movement in the above ratio of -4.2% is due to the increased staff numbers through the<br />

merger with Wiltshire Community Services.<br />
