5.4 Directors’ responsibility for preparing the accounts
So far as the directors are aware, there is no relevant audit information of which the auditors are
unaware. The directors have taken all of the steps that they ought to have taken as directors in order
to make themselves aware of any relevant audit information and to establish that the auditors are
aware of that information.
The Directors are aware of their responsibilities for preparing the accounts and are satisfied that they
meet the requirements as reflected in the Statement of Chief Executive’s responsibilities as the
Accounting Officer at Great Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust also as referred to elsewhere in
this report (section 12.1 refers).
