<strong>Ticket</strong> <strong>to</strong> Hire functions as an intermediary between employers and ENs. Employers<br />

can contact <strong>Ticket</strong> <strong>to</strong> Hire <strong>to</strong> provide information on job vacancies. <strong>Ticket</strong> <strong>to</strong> Hire shares<br />

<strong>the</strong> job vacancy information with appropriate ENs in <strong>the</strong> employers’ areas. To preserve<br />

employer anonymity, <strong>Ticket</strong> <strong>to</strong> Hire passes <strong>the</strong> EN contact information on<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> employer.<br />

The employer contacts <strong>the</strong> EN <strong>to</strong> follow up with <strong>the</strong> candidates it is interested in<br />

interviewing.<br />

The program’s main functions are <strong>to</strong> provide information and promote job matching. It<br />

<strong>of</strong>fers employers information and resources on disability employment issues including,<br />

reasonable accommodation issues and tax incentives for employing individuals with<br />

disabilities. The program also seeks <strong>to</strong> help participating employers reduce both <strong>the</strong> time<br />

and cost <strong>of</strong> recruiting qualified job candidates as well as <strong>the</strong> amount <strong>of</strong> time ENs must<br />

devote <strong>to</strong> job development.<br />
