Building <strong>and</strong> decoration products may only be placed on the market if their emissions of<br />
CMR compounds are below 1 µg.m -3 after 28 days. Additionally 4 emission classes have<br />
been defined in Draft Order <strong>for</strong> the m<strong>and</strong>atory labelling of emissions. Table 28 shows the<br />
corresponding limit values <strong>for</strong> specified substances.<br />

Ecolabels <strong>for</strong> building products <strong>and</strong> green public procurement<br />
The following chapter shall give an idea of the regulations concerning the use <strong>and</strong> emission<br />
of hazardous substances in ecolabels <strong>and</strong> green public procurement systems (referred to as<br />
product assessment systems). The m<strong>and</strong>atory labeling in France based on the “Grenelle de<br />
l’environnement” <strong>and</strong> the AgBB assessment scheme in Germany can also be accounted to<br />
