of their income generating capacity (distribution of 120 kits to<br />
groups and to individuals).<br />
Third phase: Post emergency and recovery (April – December)<br />
• Access to income and the economic recovery is promoted (2 nd phase):<br />
• 5,280 people benefit from grants or material kits to support the quick re-establishment<br />
of their income generating capacity (distribution of 880 kits to<br />
groups and to individuals).<br />
• 5 market places are reconstructed directly benefiting 100 trader households<br />
(400 people).<br />
• Agricultural rehabilitation and recovery is enhanced:<br />
• 300 Ha of land are rehabilitated and seed, tool and fertilizer kits are distributed,<br />
benefiting 320 farmer households (1,280 people)<br />
• 5,000 vegetable and/or rice seeds kits are distributed to indirectly affected<br />
households (20,000 people)<br />
• Sustainable recovery of fishing activities encouraged: 100 fishermen households<br />
(400 people) benefit from improved access to boats and fishing equipment<br />
• Access to adequate housing is improved:<br />
• Construction of housing or distribution of housing kits to directly affected population<br />
• Food security and livelihood situation is followed up in a systematic manner:<br />
