ID-Spec is a new s<strong>of</strong>tware which aims at helping the <strong>design</strong>er to be more productive<br />

in draft <strong>design</strong> phase and argue easily his <strong>design</strong> decisions.<br />

It supports the <strong>design</strong>er in selecting the relevant single line diagram patterns for main<br />

distribution and sub distribution and in adapting these patterns to his project. It also<br />

supports the <strong>design</strong>er in equipment technology and rating selection. Its generates<br />

automatically the corresponding <strong>design</strong> specification documentation including single<br />

line diagram and its argument, list and specification <strong>of</strong> the corresponding equipment.<br />
