MAXOCCUR – The data set exceeded the MAXOCCURANCES= value.<br />

REL COMP – This is a component of a deleted cluster.<br />

RESTORED – The data set has been restored to disk.<br />

<strong>FDR</strong>504 DDNAME=ddname REFERENCES SUCCESSFULLY function type CNTL FILE<br />

Reason: The control file indicated by “ddname” has been RESTORED, REORGANIZED, or<br />

MERGED from other files.<br />

Reason: A REORG or DUMP of a control file was requested by the user. The dump of the control<br />

file “dsname” was successfully completed to “ddname”.<br />

<strong>FDR</strong>508 RECFM=recfm,BLKSIZE=nnnnn<br />

Reason: Follows message <strong>FDR</strong>507 and documents the record format and blocksize of the<br />

backup file.<br />

<strong>FDR</strong>509 REJECTED--reason--VOL=vvvvvv ADATE=yyyy.ddd DSNAME=dsname<br />

Reason: User has requested that one or more data set entries within an Archive Control File be<br />

marked for special processing or have a special processing indicator removed. The<br />

request was rejected for “dsname” that was ARCHIVED on date “yyyy.ddd” from disk<br />

volume “vvvvvv”. “reason” can be:<br />

ALREADY SELECTED – User requested a data set entry be marked for Archive<br />

restore. It was already so marked.<br />

EXPIRED TAPE – User requested a data set entry be marked for Archive restore<br />

but the tape containing the data set has expired.<br />

ALREADY DELETED – User requested a data set entry be marked for deletion from<br />

the Archive Control File. The data set entry is already marked for deletion.<br />

ICF TABLE FULL – The table used for associating VSAM clusters and components<br />

has overflowed.<br />

VOLSER TABLE FULL – The table used to store backup volume serials has overflowed.<br />

Action: Correct any obvious errors. Contact INNOVATION DATA PROCESSING for assistance.<br />

action--VOLSER=vvvvvv BKDATE=yyyy.ddd ENCRYPTION TYPE=encrytype<br />

Reason: The user has requested that one or more data set entries within a control file be marked<br />

for special processing or have a special processing indicator removed. The requested<br />

“action” was successfully performed for the data set entry “dsname” that was<br />

archived/encrypted from disk volume “vvvvvv” on date “yyyy.ddd”. This message may<br />

also appear during a REORG operation. “action” may be:<br />

UPDATE COMPLETED(command CMD) – “command” may be DELETE,<br />

EXCLUDE, EXPIRE, MODIFY, RECAT, RESET, etc.<br />

UNCATALOGED FROM AUTO RECALL – User requested a reorganization of the<br />

Archive Control File. The specified data set entry that was being dropped<br />

from the file had been marked for Auto Recall. Therefore the program<br />

uncataloged the data set.<br />

RECATALOGED (SERVICE=service) – “service” may be CONVERT, CORRECT,<br />

MERGE, or PERFORM.<br />

CATALOGED (SERVICE=CREATE) – User specified a RECATALOG command.<br />
