preprogrammed or fixed keys are such keys<br />

- The same station may have a "personal call forwarding" Master key and a "Group call<br />

forwarding" Master key<br />

- A "text answering" forwarding can only be activated on a station with a display<br />

- The "internal" type of calls to be forwarded includes internal calls as well as those coming<br />

from the private network<br />

- Forward to text answering: when a network call from a station without UUS capability (a Z<br />

station for example) arrives at a station that has activated forwarding to text answering, the<br />

call is forwarded to the attendant station, which also receives the text message from the<br />

called station<br />

- Prefixes for the forwarding functions in the numbering plans. The basic value may differ<br />

according to the local version of the software; the following values apply in France:<br />

• Forwarding: base 0 = cancel forwarding<br />

• Forwarding: base 1 = immediate forwarding<br />

• Forwarding: base 2 = forwarding on busy<br />

• Forwarding: base 3 = do not disturb<br />

• Forwarding: base 4 = forward to pager<br />

• Forwarding: base 5 = group call forwarding<br />

• Forwarding: base 6 = disconnect from group<br />

• Forwarding: base 7 = rejoin group<br />

• Forwarding: base 8 = follow-me<br />

• Forwarding: base 9 = cancel follow-me<br />

• Forwarding: base 10 = selective forwarding<br />

- Cascade forwarding (available from version R2.0): a call may be subject to a maximum of<br />

5 individual forwardings (default: 5; configurable by OMC):<br />

• In case of external forwarding (of a local call, of an incoming call by joining or by<br />

re-routing), the cascade may use public or private, analog or digital lines<br />

• The cascade stops as soon as the authorized number is reached (thus avoiding loops)<br />

• The cascade stops when it comes to a user in forwarding:<br />

• Do Not Disturb<br />

• Text answering<br />

• Follow-me<br />

• On the person search device<br />

• Dynamic routing (except if routing is to an external destination)<br />

• Screening: if the last forwarding authorized by the cascade number configuration<br />

concerns a user in the process of screening, this additional forwarding is accepted<br />

• Group call forwarding: if the recipient of group call forwarding is himself forwarded, this<br />

forwarding will not be processed<br />

• Forwarding on busy: the forwarding is processed even if the user is grade 2 busy (2<br />

established calls)<br />

• Forwarding on the person search device: this forwarding is processed even if it means<br />

exceeding the authorized number of cascades<br />

- US special features: a “Do not disturb” forwarding is managed as an immediate forwarding<br />
