Fixed End key: supervision of the screened call is deactivated; the user<br />

cannot replay the message currently being screened, but screening remains<br />

active for other incoming calls, which can still be supervised.<br />

4.3.7.1.3 Additional Information<br />

- The set's speaker is automatically activated when the message is left.<br />

- This function is only available for idle sets with programmable keys and a speaker.<br />

- The messages that can be screened correspond to calls to users with fixed or dynamic<br />

routing on their lines; messages sent from a mailbox cannot be screened.<br />

- The general mailbox cannot be screened; messages sent from the "Mailbox" menu cannot<br />

be screened.<br />

- Screening can only be activated for a single message at a time.<br />

- If screening is activated while a message is being left, there is no effect.<br />

- The call can be answered by pressing the “Handsfree" key or hanging up. The part of the<br />

message left before answering is wiped. After going back on hook, screening remains<br />

active for any new incoming call.<br />

4.3.8 Remote notification<br />

4.3.8.1 Overview<br />

4.3.8.1.1 Description<br />

This feature notifies users when someone has left a message for them; a call is sent by the<br />

voice server. When the recipient answers, he can access his mailbox, if the service is active.<br />

Notification can be validated for a specific time period.<br />

4.3.8.2 Configuration procedure<br />

4.3.8.2.1 Configuration<br />

- To enable external notification, for each user:<br />

• By MMC-OMC (<strong>Expert</strong> View): Subscribers/Base stations List -> Subscribers/Base stations List -><br />

Details -> Voice Mailbox -> Notification -> check ? The subscriber is allowed to activate notification<br />

In the case of external notification, the call is subject to restrictions.<br />
