Chapter 3
- When the assistant station in a manager-assistant relationship is a Hunt Group, the
manager station has a single screening key but as many RSL keys as there are members
in the group.
- Any activation of individual forwarding on the assistant station or the manager station
cancels and replaces the previously active screening.
- Any request for activation of screening is rejected on a assistant station which has already
activated individual call forwarding.
3.47.1.3 Supervision
The Supervision feature is based on the existing Selective Monitoring feature of OmniPCX
Office:
- Supervision provides selective monitoring combined with Calling and Called Parties
presentation
- The notified call can be answered by the designated "Supervisor"
All OmniPCX Office subscribers can be supervised: legacy phone, 8002/8012 Deskphone,
8082 My IC Phone, analog phone, SIP phones, My IC Mobile applications.
Restrictions
As in the case of Selective Monitoring, these keys allow monitoring of all the direct calls to the
supervised OmniPCX Office subscriber. Any call forwarded or diverted to a supervised
subscriber is NOT notified.
The calls distributed via a group call (hunting group, attendant group) are also NOT notified.
The direct calls to the primary set are not monitored by a Supervision key defined with the
directory number of the secondary set. To supervise a call to a Multi-set, the Supervision key
has to be defined with the directory number of the primary set.
An ACD group call CAN be supervised if the ACD agent is supervised by another OmniPCX
Office subscriber. This is possible because the ACD engine calls the ACD agent directly
through directory number and the ACD engine makes a transfer from the virtual ACD port to
the ACD agent.
Note:
Avoid the particular case where 8082 My IC Phone is configured as manager and assistant is a hunting
group:
- The current status of the manager-assistant relation is not displayed on the 8082 My IC Phone:
Status changes can be made but the application always shows manager-assistant relation in off
status
3.47.2 Configuration procedure
3.47.2.1 Configuration
- To create the manager-assistant or manager-seretary relations:
• by OMC (Expert View): Manager-Assistant Associations
• by MMC-Station: TerPro ->MgrAst or MgrSec
- For each station, authorize the type of calls (internal, external, or both) to be screened:
