Handset models and 90 xxxx for Alcatel-Lucent 400 DECT Handset models.<br />

5.1.6.4.3 Resetting the EEPROM<br />

This function restores the terminal to its factory settings, i.e. associated with no system and<br />

containing no saved data.<br />

- Turn the handset off and on again, simultaneously pressing On-hook, Off-hook and i.<br />

- Select EEPROM Reset and validate.<br />

5.1.6.4.4 Quitting battery security<br />

The set can activate automatic security on the battery in the event of a short circuit, a critically<br />

flat battery (after several weeks without charging) or excessive charge voltage. Some of these<br />

incidents may arise if the handset suffers a violent impact.<br />

When security is activated, the mobile is powered down and will not come back on.<br />

To deactivate security:<br />

- remove the battery and replace it in the mobile<br />

- place the handset (turned off) on the charger<br />

- press the handset "on" key without removing it from the charger.<br />
