Replacing a DAP<br />

To replace a DAP:<br />

1. Unplug the DAP<br />

2. In OMC, select Users/Base stations List<br />

3. From the list, select the DAP to remove<br />

4. Click the Detail button<br />

5. Click the IP/SIP button.<br />

6. Enter the MAC address of the new DAP in the MAC address field.<br />

7. Confirm your entry.<br />

8. Plug the new DAP.<br />

Note:<br />

The list of registered handsets is then retrieved from the other DAPs.<br />

Synchronizing DAPs<br />

The DECT handsets are registered in both the OmniPCX Office and the DAP. If the DAP is<br />

unavailable, some handsets can remain in the DAP after being removed from the OmniPCX<br />

Office.<br />

To synchronize OmniPCX Office and the DAPs:<br />

1. In OMC, select IP Dect > IP DECT commands<br />

2. Select Synchronize all<br />

3. Confirm your entry.<br />

Note:<br />

This command keeps all IP-DECT handsets that are in the Subscriber list of OMC. All other handsets<br />

in the DAPs are removed.<br />

Removing all subscriptions in DAPs<br />

To remove all subscriptions in DAPs:<br />

1. In OMC, select IP Dect > IP DECT commands<br />

2. Select Terminate all<br />

3. Confirm your entry.<br />

Modifying DAP web administration page password<br />

The DAP has a Web administration page which needs a password for access. For IP-DECT<br />

DAP administrator password there is no default password and the password can only be reset.<br />

To modify this password:<br />

1. In OMC, select Subscriber miscellaneous > Passwords -> SIP phone Administrator<br />

passwords<br />

2. Click the Reset button for IP-DECT DAP<br />

3. Confirm the reset action.<br />
