Day 2:
Discover the Plitvizer Lakes national park today, one of the most
beautiful natural phenomena known to the world. Sixteen lakes
surrounded by thick forests and joined with 92 waterfalls it is no
wonder that the National Park was declared an UNESCO World
Heritage site in 1979. During your visit, enjoy a walk through the
park and a boat trip on the Kozjak Lake after which you have time
to relax in the wonderful countryside. Enjoy your evening meal in a
local restaurant.
Day 3:
Today we suggest a journey into the surrounding countryside of
Zagreb. Start your day with a journey through the rolling hills of
the wine growing region with its vineyards, small churches and
fortresses. Zagorje, in the north of Croatia, has over 50 castles
and mansion house, many of which have wonderful parks and
gardens. Afterwards you continue your journey to the old city of
Varazdin, where you can visit the beautiful architectures. In the
evening, enjoy a traditional evening meal in a local restaurant.

Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrive at your hotel in the Makarska Riviera area.
Day 2:
Today, travel with your tour guide to the Neretva Delta, where
you will be awaited by the plantation farmers. Feel the warm autumn-sun
on your back and relax while picking the sweet mandarins.
After lunch relax on a photo-safari by boat and let the impressions
of this vitalising landscape enchant you.
Day 3:
Enjoy a trip to Dubrovnik today, a must for everyone, including
those with only the slightest interest in culture. In particular, the
historical centre of this medieval city is worth a visit. Discover this
city on your own, take a stroll along the harbour or relax in one of
the cafès.
Day 4:
Extend your stay or depart homeward.
