Florence, Rome and Venice
Discover the romance of Florence the magnificence of Rome and
the canals of Venice. This great tour of discovery will show you the
most beautiful sights and treasures of Italy.
Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrive in Italy and enjoy the wonderful scenery as you travel south
to Montecatini Terme, where you will stay for one night. Montecatini
Terme is one of the most famous and largest spas in Italy.
Day 2:
Today, enjoy an excursion to the well-known city of fashion, Florence.
Your city guide will show you highlights such as the Ponte
Vecchio, Giotto’s Campanile, the impressive Cathedral, the Baptistery
with Michelangelo’s "Gates of Heaven" and the Medici chapel.
Afterwards, you have free time to explore the city on your
own. You then continue on to the Chianciano area in Tuscany, your
home for the next two nights.
Day 3:
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Rome, the impressive capital
of Italy. On arrival, your tour guide will take you to many of the
magnificent and imposing sights of this city, such as the Castel
San Angelo, the Vatican City, St. Peter’s Square, the Trevi Fountain,
the Colosseo, the Spagna’s square and many more.
Day 4:
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before leaving Chianciano area for the
Abano Terme in Veneto. During the day we recommend a visit to
discover the ancient university town of Bolgona. Bolgona is the
capital of the province of Bologna and the Emilia Romagna region
and is one of the famous university towns. Do not miss a visit to the
symbols of the city, the two towers, the "Torre Garisenda" and the
"Asinelli". The Towers were the tallest Building in Europe for 133
years. The church “Santuario delle
Madonna di San Luca” is located
on the guardia hill and shows
a famous view about the Po. Your
day then continues with a visit to
Padua, one of the oldest cities in
Italy. The most famous attraction
is the important church, “Basilica
di Sant’ Antonio. The Basilica with
his tomb and the high altar with
bronze statues by Donatello is a
popular pilgrimage church.

Day 5:
Today an excursion to Venice, Italy’s most romantic city and setting
for countless movies and romances, awaits you. After already
entering the centre of this city via boat, you begin your visit to “the
city of love” with a cruise along the famous canals, passing grand
palaces full of culture and art, to St. Mark’s Square. Here you will
start a walking tour that will introduce you to some of the most
famous buildings and monuments of Venice: the Bridge of Sighs,
the Doges Palaces and St. Mark’s Basilica. The afternoon is then
free for you to discover the town on your own.

Departure.
