Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrive at your hotel in the region of Salzburg, your hotel for the
next 2 nights.
Day 2:
Enjoy a relaxing morning in your hotel or discover your surroundings
with a walk. In the early afternoon we suggest traveling to
the town of Bischofshofen, where you can visit the spectacular
Nordic ski Jump or take a walk in the town and enjoy a coffee
and cake in the town centre. You then continue on to Ramsau
where you join the cable car for a ride to the top. Only a few are
privileged to see it - the beautiful play of colours and the impressive
view when night falls over the Dachstein Mountains. These
selected few might be the lodge hosts in the glacier huts or the
cable car technician who spends the night at the top station. The
rare occasions on which this experience is open to all guests are
the Sunset Tours of the Dachstein Glacier cable car.. The guests of
the glacier restaurant will be pampered with good food and music
as the sunsets. Naturally, the Dachstein Ice Palace and the glacier
crevice can also still be viewed in the evening.
Day 3:
This tour would be an excellent end to a wonderful holiday in Austria
so why not extend your stay or combine this with another tour?
