Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrival at your hotel in the area of Assisi/Perugia, evening meal in
hotel.
Day 2:
After a relaxing breakfast travel to the medieval town of Assisi,
one of the largest religious centres of Italy, and world famous due
to St. Francis of Asissi. Located on a hill, this small town is nearly
car free and therefore a wonderful place to stroll through. Discover
hidden alleyways with wonderful picturesque corners. Your city
guide will show you some of the important points of interest during
a walking tour. Don’t miss the San Francesco Basilica. In the
afternoon, after some free time to explore on your own, travel to
the characteristic town of Gubbio before returning to your hotel
for the evening.
Day 3:
Today we recommend a visit to the town of Spello, with its typical
middle-aged facades before continuing on to Spoleto. In Spoleto
enjoy some free time to wander along the narrow lanes and enjoy
lunch, coffee and cake or a typical Italian ice cream at one of the
street cafes.
Day 4:
Extend your stay or start your homeward journey.

at museums, restaurants, shops etc. in Assisi and other towns
in Umbria.
