Arrive at your middle-class hotel in the Salzburg area.
Day 2:
Surrounded by the lakes and mountains of the picturesque Salzkammergut
region, Salzburg is certainly one of the most magnificent
cities in the world. Your city guide will introduce you to the
city‘s highlights before you visit Hohensalzburg Fortress, the largest
fortress in Austria. This unmistakable landmark, with its eyecatching
baroque towers peaking out high above the city, provides
the city’s world famous silhouette.
Day 3:
Enjoy your breakfast before travelling to Werfen, and the spectacular
Hohenwerfen Fortress, where visitors have a high-altitude
encounter with the past. The castle dates back over 900 years
and the feathered hunters of the province’s falconry, the dashing
weaponry, the museum and the castle‘s dark corners, all encourage
visitors to investigate its mighty walls from within.
