This multicentred tour presents the Bavarian and the Tyrolean Alps
with their different romantic highlights. Discover valuable treasures
in Munich, conquer Germany’s highest mountain and immerse
yourself in the history of the Bavarian Royal Castles. In Austria,
the sparkling SWAROVSKI Crystal Worlds await you in Innsbruck.
Visit also the Nordkette and Salzburg. Do not miss to visit Lake
Königsee and enjoy a trip to the salt mine. Before you travel back
home stop at the beautiful Chiemsee.
Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrival at Munich. Your guide will show you the highlights of the
city. Time at leisure before having dinner at a typical Bavarian
restaurant.
Day 2:
Depart to Garmisch–Partenkirchen and start your day with a guided
tour. You then make an excursion to the Zugspitze Mountain,
where you travel with the "The Bayerischen Zugspitzbahn mountain
railway" to the summit for lunch in the Panorama Lounge. Before
returning to your hotel take your time to discover the beautiful
mountain. Evening meal at the hotel.
Day 3:
Visit the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle and the neighbouring
Hohenschwangau Castle. Re-enact the times of Ludwig II.
Overnight in Schwangau area.
Day 4:
In Austria, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds await you. During the day
discover the mountain of Innsbruck by cable railway "Nordkettenbahn".
On the top of the mountain enjoy the breath-taking view.
After a guided tour of Innsbruck end up your day with a dinner at
a local restaurant.

Day 5:
In the morning start your trip to
Berchtesgaden. Discover legendary
mountains and the famous
Lake Königsee on your
boat trip to St. Bartholomä. Afterwards,
join a salt mining tour.
Check in and dinner at your hotel
in Berchtesgaden area.
Day 6:
Discover Salzburg, the city of
Mozart. Your guide will show you
the most important sights. Visit
Fortress Hohensalzburg and enjoy
the panoramic view over the
rooftops of the city. At the end of
the day you enjoy a delicious dinner
in a local restaurant.
Day 7:
Back in Germany, you make a
boat trip on Lake Chiemsee. Moreover
you will visit the Herrenchiemsee
New Palace. Afternoon
at leisure and dinner at the hotel.
Day 8:
After breakfast, homeward journey.
