Every year the world‘s largest
dumpling festival takes place in
the picturesque Tyrolean town of
St. Johann in Tirol. The "Speckbacherstrasse"
will be transformed into the longest dining room in the
world and on the 300 m table you will find over 25,000 dumplings
in 22 different varieties and flavours. Music and stalls make sure
that the "St. Johanner dumpling table" is something for the old
and young alike.

Day 1:
Arrive at your hotel in the Kitzbühel Alps, your home for the next 2
nights. Evening meal in your hotel.
Day 2:
After a leisurely breakfast, travel to the picturesque town of Rattenberg,
the smallest town in Austria. Well-known for its glass production
it is always a pleasure to stroll down the main street or to
sit at one of the street cafés for a coffee. Included in your day is
a visit to the Kisslinger glass blowers where you can watch the
craftsmen at their work. In the afternoon travel to St. Johann in
Tirol and join the longest dumpling table in the world. At approx.
1.00 o’clock the first innkeepers open the festival. Your afternoon
will be filled with traditions from all over Tyrol as you enjoy the music,
dancing and the homecoming of the cows.
Day 3:
Extend your stay, combine with another tour, or depart home.
