In the footsteps of Emperors & Kings<br />

The Route of Emperors and Kings combines some of the most<br />

beautiful and culturally significant medieval cities. From Regensburg<br />

via Passau and Vienna to Budapest this princely tour will<br />

take you through varied landscapes and sites of global importance.<br />

Along the Danube you will take a journey into the past from<br />

the early Middle Ages to the French Revolution.<br />

Suggested programme:<br />

Day 1:<br />

Arrive at your hotel in Regensburg or the surrounding area. Dinner<br />

at the hotel.<br />

Day 2:<br />

Start your day with a guided city tour of Regensburg and a visit to<br />

the UNESCO World Heritage Visitor Centre. In the oldest sausage<br />

shop in the world, you could sample the famous "Bratwürstl". In<br />

the afternoon, admire the unique skyline from aboard your Cristal<br />

Ship. This evening could be spent in Passau with a concert at the<br />

home of largest cathedral organ in the world, in the Cathedral of<br />

St. Stephen. Dinner at the hotel.<br />

Day 3:<br />

After breakfast a walking tour of Passau is on the program. From<br />

the boat you have a great vantage point over the most beautiful<br />

sections of the "Upper Danube Valley". The highlight of the cruise<br />

is the Schlögener Loop with panoramic views. Afterwards, you go<br />

on to Linz. Dinner at the hotel.<br />

Linz, the European Capital of Culture<br />

During a city tour your guide explains<br />

this Upper Austrian cultural metropolis.<br />

The visit of the "Voestalpine<br />

Stahl World" is a journey<br />
