Vienna – Prague – Wroclaw – Krakow
Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrival in your middle-class hotel in Vienna. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 2:
A morning’s sightseeing tour of Vienna will provide you with a great
insight into this magnificent city. During this tour you will see the
most important buildings along the Ringstrasse, such as the State
Opera House, the Kunsthistorisches Museum and the Museum of
Natural History, the Imperial Palace, the Parliament and the City
Hall. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit one of
the many museums or simply stroll through along the Kärntner
Strasse in the heart of the city. In the evening you may choose to
visit a typical Viennese Heuriger.
Day 3:
After breakfast our journey continues to Prague, where we will
arrive around lunchtime. If you wish, we can organize lunch for you
at the hotel. In the afternoon a local guide will show you the city of
Prague. Receive your first impressions of the "city of the hundred
spires". You will see the most important places and sights, for
example Wencelas Square, the National Theatre, the Lesser Town
and Hradcany with Prague castle, Charles’ Bridge, the former Jewish
district and the Old Town Square. Dinner in the hotel.
Day 4:
The morning is free to spend at leisure. Enjoy the unique flair of
the city of Prague during a romantic boat ride on the River Vltava.
Admire the fantastic view of the river and the city skyline over
a pleasant lunch with musical entertainment. You will see many
of the most significant buildings and historical monuments, the
Rudolfinum Charles’ Bridge and the beautiful houses in the Old
Town. After the boat ride you will have the opportunity to stroll
through the historic old town. Afterwards dinner will be served in a
traditional restaurant in the heart of the city.
Day 5:
In the morning continue to Wroclaw. You will love this city! Follow
your guide in search of almost 1000 years of history through the
unique combination of metropolitan architecture, medieval alleys
and avant-garde buildings.
Day 6:
After breakfast continue to Krakow and become acquainted with
the city and its significance, both as a royal and bishops’ seat.
You can admire the royal apartments
and the Flemish tapestries
in Wawel Castle and listen to the
anecdotes which your guide will
certainly tell you. The tour then
continues along the city wall and
through Florian’s Gate in the direction
of the inner city. The evening
is free to spend at leisure.
There are many excellent restaurants
with typical Polish cuisine.
Day 7:
Departure after breakfast
