Day 1:
Arrival at your hotel in the Nuremberg area.
Day 2:
After breakfast you start with your discovery of Nuremberg. During
a walk through the festive decorated historic district you learn
more about Christmas Markets. In the afternoon enjoy a mulled
wine at one of the stands at the Christmas Market.
Day 3:
Take a day trip to the nearby city of Bamberg. First get an insight of
the history of Christmas and its traditions before seeing the city's
highlights. In the afternoon enjoy some free time at the Christmas
Market. Tipp: If you travel over the weekend, there are numerous
small Christmas Markets in the different districts of the city.
Day 4:
You can spend your last full day for discovering more of Nuremberg.
Another option is a day trip to Munich. Why not discover the
Bavarian capital during the Advent season, when it offers a special
Christmas atmosphere? You get a first insight in the amazing city
during a city tour, before you have time to discover the various
Christmas Markets.
Day 5:
After breakfast you start your homeward journey.

Day 1:
Today you travel to Cologne. Check In at your hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast, you visit Cologne that is renowned for many years
for its wonderful traditional Christmas Markets. The oldest Market
is the Neumarkt in the heart of the shopping district. The Cathedral
Christmas Market, so called because it is set against the backdrop
of Cologne‘s magnificent landmark, is the most elaborately
decorated with great attention to detail. Many stalls sell sweet
delicacies and Glühwein (mulled wine) from festively decorated
Christmas mugs. The Rudolfplatz Christmas Market has a fairytale
theme, and on the Rhine itself is a Maritime Market with a mariner
theme. In the afternoon we recommend a ride with the Christmas
Market Express.
Day 3:
Today you travel to Rüdesheim, the romantic city on the Rhine.
Head to St. Goar, travel the last kilometres by boat and enjoy the
winter wonderland. In Rüdesheim, your guide shows you the marvellous
Christmas market. It is unique because of its international
nature and the special atmosphere. Five different nations bring
their customs and specialities closer to you. Afterwards, time at
leisure and return to your hotel.
Day 4:
Today you leave your hotel in Cologne.
