Estepona and a Taste of Gibraltar<br />
Discover the highlights of the Rock of Gibralter, the beautiful<br />
mountainous region of Ronda and the city of Malaga on this tour.<br />
Suggested programme:<br />
Day 1:<br />
Arrive at your hotel in the Estepona region, your home for the next<br />
6 nights.<br />
Day 2:<br />
Today you are free to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Take a<br />
walk through the countryside visit the seaside or enjoy a coffee<br />
and cake at a street café.<br />
Day 3<br />
We recommend a trip to the village of Mijas and the Marina Banús<br />
today. Mijas is a beautiful whitewashed town set in the hillside<br />
with excellent panoramic views along the coastline. Enjoy a walk<br />
around the town visiting points of interest such as the town hall,<br />
the church and the bullring; why not take a ride on one of the traditional<br />
donkey taxis in the centre of the town? On the return journey<br />
to the hotel, enjoy a coffee stop at Marnia Puerto Banús. Here you<br />
can enjoy a stroll around the Marina admiring the luxurious yachts<br />
or sit and watch them sail by at one of the cafes.<br />
Day 4:<br />
A highlight of your trip to this part of Spain is a visit to Gibralter,<br />
"The Rock". Located on the Iberian Peninsula this is a British<br />
Overseas Territory, with an area of only 6sqKm. During your visit,<br />
you can enjoy one of Gibraltar’s Highlights, a trip on the Cable car,<br />
built in 1966 this is a must for all visitors to the region. At the top,<br />

you can meet the Barbary apes,<br />
as well as experience some of the<br />

Day 5:<br />
Today you travel along the coast to the<br />
city, seaport and holiday resort of Malaga. Located in the heart of<br />
the Costa del Sol, this is the birthplace of Picasso. Malaga enjoys<br />
a privileged geographical position that ensures over 300 days of<br />
sunshine per year. Enjoy a guided tour of the city before having<br />
some free time to discover more at your own pace.<br />
Day 6:<br />
Discover the world of the Ronda region with its beautiful landscapes<br />
and wild plants. This is a paradise for Nature lovers. On arrival<br />
enjoy a guided tour of this Andalusian city, one of the oldest in<br />
Spain, and visit sights such as the Palace Mondragon. The old<br />
town should not be missed and the bullring, built entirely of stone<br />
in 1784 is considered the oldest in Spain.<br />
