Day 1:
Arrival at your hotel in the Dresden area, your home for the next
3 nights.
Day 2:
Today you discover Dresden during a city walk with your guide, the
Stollen baker. Stroll through the festively decorated old town, discover
the world-known sights and learn more about culinary traditions.
Your guide speaks about the eventful history of the "Striezel"
and about the involvement of the pope in today’s recipe for the stollen.
In the afternoon, you make a boat ride on the river Elbe. Enjoy
a piece of Christmas stollen and admire the Christmassy Dresden
from the water!
Day 3:
After breakfast, you wander again on the traces of "Dresdner Christstollen".
Visit a stollen manufactory and learn interesting facts about
the recipe and the production of the stollen and other bakery products
during a film show and explanations of a staff member. Your
visit wouldn’t be complete without a tasting of the delicacies and
a cup of coffee. In the afternoon, you have some time at leisure
to discover Dresden’s Christmas Markets. In addition to the world-known
"Striezelmarkt" there are various thematic Christmas Markets
between the old town and the river Elbe. There is something to
discover for everyone!
Day 4:
Depart homeward after breakfast. We recommend a stop at one of
the Christmas Markets in the region of Dresden.

Day 2:
After breakfast, you start with your discovery of the Oberstdorf area,
which is Germany’s most southern municipality. First, you make a
ride with the cable car to the top of Nebelhorn Mountain. Take your
time and make a walk on the 1.5 kilometers long panorama way,
which offers an impressing view over the region. Before taking the
cable car back to Oberstdorf, you can have lunch in the restaurant
at the summit. In the afternoon, you can spend some time at leisure
to discover the town on your own. Another option is to enjoy the
beautiful nature during an easy snowshoe hike.
Day 3:
Today, you get interesting insights in the world of the Bavarian Royals.
In the morning, you visit "Museum der bayerischen Könige".
Immerse yourself in the history of the royal family in Bavaria from the
beginning to today. Depending on the weather conditions you visit
either Neuschwanstein Castle or Linderhof Castle in the afternoon.
Be impressed by splendid buildings from the time of King Ludwig II.

cheese noodles in a local restaurant.
Please note, that it can be difficult to reach Neuschwanstein Castle
during cold and icy weather conditions. In this case, we recommend
a visit of Linderhof Castle.
Day 4:
Extend your stay, combine with another tour or depart home.
