The aim <strong>of</strong> this program is <strong>the</strong> fastest application <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> industrial production <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> equipment to prepare super pure hydrogen from gaseousmixtures by <strong>the</strong> method <strong>of</strong> diffusion through membranes from palladium alloys.The actual importance <strong>of</strong> this task due to <strong>the</strong> orientation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> mankind to <strong>the</strong> hydrogentechnologies does not cause any doubt. The general assignment <strong>of</strong> hydrogen permeablematerials based on palladium alloys is directed to <strong>the</strong>ir application in various technologies <strong>of</strong><strong>the</strong> hydrogen energy: <strong>the</strong> production <strong>of</strong> hydrogen by conversion <strong>of</strong> different hydrocarbons asalternative ecologically pure fuel in <strong>the</strong> auto industry and in <strong>the</strong> wide spectrum <strong>of</strong> equipmentswith fuel cells, in <strong>the</strong> metallurgy (<strong>the</strong> production <strong>of</strong> protective atmospheres), as well as in anumber <strong>of</strong> technologies in <strong>the</strong> chemical industry which transfers <strong>the</strong>ir schemes to«membrane» reactors (<strong>the</strong> preparation <strong>of</strong> ethylene, propylene, benzene, etc.).The main component <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> developed composite membrane with <strong>the</strong> super thin diffusivelayer from <strong>the</strong> palladium alloy is <strong>the</strong> foil with thickness <strong>of</strong> 10 microns and lower. One <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>key elements <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> developed technology providing to it <strong>the</strong> principal novelty and highcompetitive ability is <strong>the</strong> introduction to <strong>the</strong> process <strong>of</strong> stages, taken from <strong>the</strong> industrialtechnology for <strong>the</strong> production <strong>of</strong> tinsel gold in that <strong>the</strong> authors occupy <strong>the</strong> monopolepositions.The main task <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> program is <strong>the</strong> forced development <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> production <strong>of</strong> mentionedhydrogen filtering membranes which must provide <strong>the</strong> implementation leading positions for<strong>the</strong> science technology corporation both on <strong>the</strong> forming <strong>Russian</strong> market and on <strong>the</strong> foreignmarkets for such items.The creation <strong>of</strong> selective hydrogen-filtering material with small thickness is <strong>the</strong> main butnot single task in <strong>the</strong> development and industrial production <strong>of</strong> hydrogen diffusive elements156
